Destination: Barbican Pasta Bar
Rating:
Plymouth and Beyond Star Rating

General - This is an Italian style restaurant located on one of the main streets that runs through the historic Barbican. The restaurant offers seating both upstairs and down so is actually bigger than it looks. It offers a fairly relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and the staff are very relaxed and friendly. It's a good idea to book, especially during peak season and at the weekends as it gets very busy. They are happy to take large table bookings in advance.

Food and Drink - The Pasta bar has an extensive menu offering a wide variety of pasta and and other traditional Italian dishes such as Pizza as well as their own spin on some meals. They also offer a variety of other meals including Steak and Chicken. Portions are very generous and the food is piping hot. All dishes and even drinks are very reasonably priced. There is a bar both up and downstairs.

Disabled - Wheelchair users could easily be seated downstairs as access is on street level and there are not any steps. I am not sure if there were disabled toilets as I sat upstairs, but I would assume that there would be.

Toilets - As far as I know there are toilets located both up and down stairs.

Children - The restaurant is child friendly and they are happy to provide highchairs if required. I believe they offer half portions for children.

Car Parks - The restaurant does not have its own car park, however being located right on the Barbican there are car parks around within a short walking distance.
